OUR MISSION
Sara, Teresa, Jeff and Kurt.
Kurt Nickolas William Brown's life focus and love always involved his family and friends. A close second to family and friends was architecture, drafting and construction. Priority ranks get tough to keep track of after that, but high on the list were also dirt biking, hanging out at the lake, enjoying music (almost any kind!), golfing, making people laugh, playing guitar, George Carlin, and being a kind and considerate human being.
Our annual KNWB Cowboy Golf Tournament memorializes our son, brother and friend who was lost in a motorcycle accident in December of 2007. Kurt was a graduate of Nordhoff High school (Ojai, CA) and Cuesta College (San Luis Obispo, CA) as well as a student at Butte College (Chico, CA) and Chico State University (Chico, CA). Academically, he excelled in the fields of architecture, drafting and construction management. Personally, he excelled at being a gentleman, loyal friend, loving brother and adoring son.
Kurt is deeply missed by his family, members of the community, and all who had the good fortune to know and love him. In his honor, we aim to help support students that share the same passion that Kurt did by donating money for educational scholarships to students attending the three colleges that Kurt attended. It is our hope that Kurt's legacy will live on through these gifts. That these schools will continue to turn out students who care about their communities, the environment and are up to the challenge of making our world a better place.
